My hood release cable snapped the other day (been opening it with a pair of pliers). I was just wondering if anyone knows of an easy way to install a new one. From looking at wear it runs, it looks like I might have to remove a few things like the air filter unit. I just don't want it to be one of those stupid little things that takes all day to do. Also, I emailed my dealership and asked if they had these and they said it was $73.00. That seems a little steep for a cable... does anyone know of a place that might have a better priced one??
