V70 Warning Light V70-XC70 2004

Klaus,

The guy at Autozone couldn't tell me what the code means, but then, when I was there, the message appeared that it was the SRS airbags.

Took it to the dealer on Saturday -- had multiple codes re: the passenger seatbelt. The seatbelt has been locking up, sometimes not letting the passenger lean forward.

Need to go back in 2 weeks to have the seatbelt replaced.

I was set to get a code reader, but Autozone's OBDll (or lll?) couldn't read the code -- or was that an operator error?

This dealer (Byers in Columbus, OH) annoyingly tries to pile on extra stuff supposedly required. At the 30,000 mile service I fell for their claim that the front end has to be realigned, and at the 45,000 mile on Saturday they claimed they had to rotate tires. These are not called for in the book -- no doubt they are needed, but I take these things to trusted placed near where I live, NOT the dealer.

Steve
