1999 S80 code TCM 0092, gear selector module problem S80

I just got my car back once AGAIN from the dealer. Every time I take it in for in for service something else goes wrong. While driving it home the dealer the service warning for the transmission came on. I took it right back was charged another $70.00 (after allready paying $250.00 for a level 1 service @ 128000 mi.)
The dealer said its code TCM 0092, and it needs a gear selector module at the cost of an additional $320.00. They don't have the part, and need to order it. Wha is this and is it something I can order and do myself? Any and all advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
