Heater blower not working 850

Good day Leeroy, I had similar problem on our V40, I checked for the electronic control unit under the area of the front passenger seat, next to the interior filter, remove the plug on the unit + 2 phillips screws, took it to a electronic sprare shop, they provide me with a 'transistor/thyristor', cost very little, replaced, all OK afterwards, here by us you can't be without a A/C in the car....

If you want pictures of the unit + area where it's located I'll gladly email you the details, part numbers, how to do it...I treated it as a DIY project...

I also need info on my cambelt problems, I tried contact somebody by us in South Africa, this was the reply 'your vehicle has a variable timing gear. You have to install a special cam lining tool to get the
correct settings, failure to do so can cause further damage to valves.'

What I need is a diagram etc. as the cost for repairs are very high...
