c70 versus s80 versus bmw help please C70

Shopping for a car; considering a c70 softtop convertible & s80 sedan. Considering bmw also.

Wondering how the BMW & Volvo compare +
Wondered what c70 & s80 base platforms are;

'04 c70 is 2.3 liter (5 cyl) turbo LT / auto with winter tranny package / 35,000 miles/high end everything
'06 s80 is 6 cylinder (standard 6 cylinder) same tranny pkg as c70 14,000 miles

..... had a 760 turbo (b230 block)before; loved it's performance and gas mileage ..... not so sure about about either perf or mileage with the straight 6 cylinder motor + like the lower price of the '04 and higher depreciation hit already taken by original owner.
