98 V70 Head Gasket V70-XC70

Wow! you guys have kept me going for the past year and a half. I could not have afforded to own a Volvo V70 without the assistance of you forum members. Now, I fear that I have reached the end of my affair with my V70. I started losing coolant at a slow rate about two weeks ago. My coolant tank light will come on, and I'll have to add a few ounces of coolant. I had the car in for service yesterday and asked them to check for a leak. They came back with a probable bad head gasket...$2500.00. Can't afford to do that. After timing belt, water pump, heater core, motor mount, etc...I am out of money. So, the question is, is there one of the "sealants" that you put in the cooling system that works well enough to get rid of this car? And, are the RWD wagons as maintenance intensive as the V70? I really love my car, but am faced with having to "put it to sleep". Any help would be appreciated. The car has 130k on it. Thanks!
