Heat acting up V70-XC70

More than likely, your cabin temp sensor is clogged with dirt and dust. It can be removed and gently cleaned with a tooth pick. The hard part is popping out the ECC unit from the dash, it tends to get stuck and when it frees up it wants to head in the direction of your face :)
The temp sensor is behind the little grill looking thing just to the left of the ECC unit. The round cylinder in the back has 2 plastic release clips at 12 and 6 o'clock that need to be depressed, and then carefully removed.
