heater core prices 850

I have procrastinated long enough. My heater core is now leaking coolant on the drivers side floor. The heat will stay off until the core is fixed. Spring is here so I can replace it while parked in the driveway.

In surveying prices, I noticed a wide diparity. Several web merchants are pricing heater cores from $130-140 plus gasket kits. The dealer wants $340 for a heater core. What is up here? Is the dealer part some much better("genuine volvo parts?) that he can charge such an outrageous price? The ones I have seen on the web are Nissens and Behr. Are any replacement part types better than others?

Dan
