V70 T5 1998, High idle at start, cooling fans runs for several minutes after engine shut down V70-XC70

For past two days, have had a little trouble starting my 98 V70 T5, after it starts, it idles at high rpm before it settles back down to normal idle speed. Also noticed the cooling fan runs for a few minutes after turning off motor. Never done this before. Car has 127,000 miles. Runs good, no other sign of problems, no c.e. light or codes. Plenty of coolant in the resevoir, no obvious vaccuum lines are off. Any ideas? Thanks. John K.
