To buy or not to buy V70-XC70 1998

I need some help. Have found a 1998 V70 GLT/AWD. Price %4900. 157, 800 miles on car. Beautiful inside and out. Needs AC recharge? Not blowing cold. Slight tic in engine that sounds like my 850 always has. Power stearing tight, but maybe tighter than I am used to because I am used to a 1994 850 or is the rack going? Any opinions would be greatfully appreciated. CA car with CARFAX guaruntee. One owner. Thanks, Sue
