The AWD is great in the snow and ice around here, MN, but the early models had numerous problems and they are all expensive to fix.
The AC probably has a leaking evaporator, so keep plenty of R134a on hand to keep it charged. The "fix" is to replace the evap with about 10 hours of labor.
The AWD also robs the engine of about 20 horses, making it a little bit more sluggish and using 2mpg more in fuel.
In other words, if you don't NEED awd, don't bother.
The steering is harder than in the early 850s and the turning radius is much larger. Parking lot stalls get to be a challange!
At 160K miles, it is almost time to redo your suspension parts - struts, shocks, tie rods, and possibly steering rack. An inspection is needed before you give an offer.
