Spark plug selection for Volvos has been a matter of debate for decades, I think. I've heard reports of stalling and other problems with non-Volvo plugs.

I don't know who actually makes the Volvo brand plugs. I do know that they are reliable, good for 30,000 miles plus, and reasonably priced.
