Knock Sensor Replacement 850 1995

I am trying to install my new knock sensors after getting the 1-4-3 code, telling me my front knock sensor was malfunctioning. I got the kit from FCP Groton with the updated wiring. I do not understand the new wiring. On the current setup, two sets of wires come out of the main harness, and end with 2, w conductor connectors. Those connect directly to the knock sensors. With the new harness, the sensors are directly wired to a harness, which terminates into a 3 conductor connector. Then, there is a y adapter which separates that into two, 2 conductor connectors. Finally, there are two plugs for those connectors, plus the actual pins and strain reliefs. Now, to I simply replace the connectors on the oribginal wires with the new ones, and then wire it as it seems to obviously go? Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks
Joe
