Window motor resistance S70 2000

Does anyone know what the normal resistance is for a window opener motor? I am getting 0 ohms across the two terminals on the drivers side motor. This was measured by removing the terminal connectors from the window contol panel on the driver's side and putting the ohmeter directly across the two terminals on the motor.
The window control panel isn't working, either. The contacts are fused for the driver's side window control switch, and I am wondering if the motor shorted out. The window motor is not shorted to ground. I get infinite resistance across either terminal to ground.
TO compound matters, I can't get to the fuse box because my hood won't open on the driver's side. I understand that is not an uncommon problem...so much for Volvo.
