Coolant Sensor C70 2000

Hi all,

I have recently been getting a coolany low warning light...however the coolant levbel is fine? I've tried 'un-sticking' the float as our local Volvo CSR recommended...but it's not sticking....more like it's laying at hte bottom of the resevoir tank...? has anyone experienced this...? The replacement sensor does not come with a new float? Anyone have a PN? or does it come with a replacement resevoir?

Oh, also...if you have a resivoir that does seep unitl the warning light does come on... Check the connections of the overflow drain line going into the radiator as well as the coolant line on the bottom of the resevior...which was seeping... I replaced the bottom line and both clamps as tightening the original clamp did not resolve the seep. Additionally, I replaced the factory band-style clamp on both ends of the overflow line on the top of the reservoir as well...

In advance, thanks for any advie on removing and repalcing the coolant level sensor and float... I appreciate it!

Frank
