BRAKE light on Dashboard 850 1994

My 850 Turbo BRAKE light (in red) just came on three to four days ago. A day or so before that my car hit a bump in a contruction area, possibly causing the light to come on. What potential problems does the BRAKE error light represent? I know that I also have the ABS and CHECK ENGINE lights on as well. I have had ABS problems (and had discussions on this site) before and I have had a Volvo mechanic check out what was causing the CHECK ENGINE light. This turned out to be nothing significant. Please let me know what the BRAKE error light is telling me. I would like to see what others may have experienced before I take it to a mechanic.

Thank you.

Nathan
