Window switch woe V70-XC70

Hi guys- a 1998 V70 with many miles.....the passenger side rear window goes down via the driver's 'pod' switch, but it will not go back up via the driver's pod, so I gotta reach over and use the switch on the door itself (well at least that works...)

Any remedy for this at all??

Can the right rear unit only be updated on that driver's pod??
Or does that pod unit need complete updating???
