Coolant smell S70 1998

John,

I just went through this. It's probably your heater core. I just replaced mine on Monday. I got a Behr core from FCP Groton and had the job completed in less than 2 hours. In my case, I had to pull the carpet back to see that it was leaking. The carpet has a backing on it that doesn't let the coolant seep through, at least mine did.

I check with a few local dealerships and was quoted about $700 parts/labor, I did it for less than $150.

Hope this helps.
