Engine on '01 V70 barely runs, multiple codes. V70-XC70

While driving on the highway, my car suddenly backed off to about 20-30 MPH max speed and a "Engine System Service Urgent" message was displayed. I initially thought these were symtoms of the dreaded ETM failure since I was definitely in a limp home mode. After finding a safe place to pull over, I visually checked the engine area, shut it off for awhile, restarted, and was able to continue driving at higher speeds, although sluggish. AutoZone checked the codes and P0422, P1172, and P1238 showed up. The first 2 codes relate to cylinder #1 and fuel pump issues, while P1238 mentions several problems w/fuel pressure regulator and injector circuits. Why would it show so many codes and does this mean I have single or multiple problems? The dealer has previously told me that my ECM has some problems but they have not wanted to replace it yet. Any of your thoughts or recommendations will be appreciated.
