I'm thinking about a Volvo station wagon to car pool kids. Options at the moment are a 1995 940 or a 1997 GLT. Any others? So here are some questions: Are the 3rd seats safe? Which would be a better car? The mpg on both of these seems pretty crummy, better Volvo options? Other non-volvo picks? Thanks, Erik (currently own a 1966 122s).
