will the factory roofrack from a '98 V70 fit a '97 855?? 850

thanks klaus.. i discovered the '98 v70 has a different style roofrack then the 94-97 855's.. but like you say, it should fit.. this one has the factory crossbars too, it seems there is supposed to be some sort of key to adjust them front and back..i dont have the key.. can the key be purchased new from the dealer? it came off ok but i accidentially broke 2 of the little plastic curved clips that hold the legs of the rack down into the raingutters what do these clips do? the actual legs of the rack bolt into pre-existing holes in the gutter that were filled with that tar stuff..
also, someone else removed the windshield from the car and boogered up the A-pillar roof gutter trimserts in the process
so your saying i can just cut mine?
