I've driven 240 series cars almost exclusively for the last 15+ years until last Fall when I got a great deal on a '95 850 Turbo. The car has some minor cosmetic issues and a non functional sunroof for I only paid $750 for it.

The 850 is fun to drive on the highway and makes passing a breeze compared to even a Turbo 240...but I'd trade it for a clean 244 Turbo with working A/C in a heartbeat.

Mileage is poor compared to a 240 (3-5mpg for me) even driving with a feather foot. Handling is kind of mush compared to a 240 with iPd bars and you can't get a stick shift. I feel like it handles like a fairly sporty SUV.

In short its not a bad car, just not my cup of tea
