How much oil usage and under what conditions? You should do the test for crankcase overpressure in the other post. As stated it would be hard to expect there wouldn't be some valve guide, seal and ring wear. If there's any overpressure the worn engine will not resist it as a newer engine would, so consumption could go way up.

At about 140K I had a clogged oil separator and was using about 1 qt/600 miles. After cleaning everythng in the PCV path I am using about 1 qt/1300 miles. Hardly like a new engine but definitely better and something I can live with for a while more.
