Tire Recommendations? 850 1996

My 96 850 fell victim to the infamous 96 strut mount issues. I finally had it all fixed by volvo (a whopping 1000 dollars to replace the mounts, struts, and redo the alignment)..but the damage was done to my tires already. The outside shoulder on the front driver side was bald, and the toe was totally out.

Surprisingly, I got 50 k out of my cheap Dorals despite the abuse and am considering getting those again.

I live in heat stricken AZ and do mostly freeway driving. I am not looking for performance so much as longevity and durability. AZ summers do a real number on tires, blowouts are common and our highways are littered with exploded rubber and threads. As an 850 driver, I also SPEEEEED!

I would love to hear what other 850 drivers are riding on and if they are happy with it. Also, any tire disasters??
