third row seat install--how to keep the seatback up?? V70-XC70

Be advised that Volvo recently released a parts bulletin advising that they would no longer supply third seat kits for sale for any car built prior to 01, but they would still offer repair parts for sale. It has been my experience that virtually all parts for a particular model remain available for at least ten years. The part in question was used from 94-00.
