2002 S80 suspension noise S80

Recently, I have noticed when driving over slight bumps the front end seems loose and I hear noise like rattling. The car has 83K mles and has been running great up until now. Maybe it's the ball joints or connecting links that need to be replaced? The shocks have good rebound when I push on the hood. Maybe it could also be the upper strut mounts since I had tis problem on a '95 850. I do not hear any noise when turning and there ins;t a constant noise like it would be cv joints. Please gie me your thoughts!!!
