Timing Belt S40-V40

Our trusty 2001 V40 is now due for it's first timing belt and I was wondering if there was anything extra that should be done for it besides just the best. I'd called the stealer to see how much they charged and I was shocked. Plus the nerve, since just about 3 months ago another service advisor quoted me a price that was $400 lower! I called the advisor I was speaking to out on it and he insisted on the high ball price and suggested I speak with the other one when he returns. He also said that at their price they are doing it right and other dealers would be skipping steps.

Anyway, he was recommending tensioners and pulleys while doing the belt. Thoughts? What must be replaced and what would you recommend be replaced besides the essentials like the belt?
