third row seat install--how to keep the seatback up?? V70-XC70

Did you try this yet? We also installed a 3rd row seat, just last weekend and it works great, except for the seat staying up. Right now I have it rigged up to stay up all the time. But I would like the latch to work properly.

BTW kids love the seat and it fits my 8 and 4 year old perfect. They think it's a blast...I will also say that the seat belts fit them better in the back than in the 2nd seat. In the rear seat my 8 yr old does not need the booster to make the seat belt fit. My 4 yr old we put the booster in the back and the belt fits perfect!

Thanks to this site for all the info. We are now going to start work on getting the odometer repaired!
