winter mode flashing S70

Hi,

This morning the winter mode ('up-arrow') lamp started flashing on the instrument panel of my 98 S70. Also, the small light on the 'W' button is flashing.

The emissions system warning ('lambda') lamp is also came on.

Looking for suggestions before taking it in.
