Flame Trap Wrestle 850 1996

I have a 96 850 also.

To open to the flame trap housing, I totally disconnect the 2 1/2 inch diameter flex house from the air box and the throttle housing. This house is the one that the manuals tell you not to disconnect because it is a pain to re-install. It seems to be the only way I have found to release the tension the flame trap housing is under. After disconnecting the hose and the half inch line which connects the hose to the flame trap housing the flame trap housing cover twists off easily. I then remove the flame trap with a set of needlenose pliers.
