key fobs - keyless remotes 850

I just went through this with the 1995 850 Turbo I just bought. Go to keylessride.com. I believe the 95 & 96 are different from the earlier ones. Also, the programming is a little touchy. Turn the key from off to possition II (just before starting) 5 times (leave in position II), then push either the lock or unlock once (but hold for about 2 seconds). The entire procedure MUST be done within 10 seconds. Do the same for each fob. Took me about 5 times until it worked. The key seems to be to hold the fob button down for at least 2 seconds. I have always found that there is a long time between pushing the lock or unlock button and the action occurring. I highly recommend the fob that keylessride makes. It is much smaller than the Volvo one, and costs $44 for a new one. A new Volvo one will be atleast $100.
