Electrical problem, I think..... S70 1999

My 99 S70 na is starting to worry me. The other day, I was leaving my house and the dash brake warning light came on, the odometer and trip meter went to all dashes, and the speedometer stopped working all at once. A few miles down the road, the dashes were replaced by numbers, the brake warning light went out, and my speedo started working again. I'm thinking a short or a loose connection somewhere, but have no clue as to where to start looking. Maybe some of you have ran across this problem before. Any help you guys can give wil be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
