Remote programming 850 1997

Yes, 97 is same as 93-96. 98 requires volvo scan tool and PIN# from volvo database. 99 and newer require vida software download.
NOTE- 98-2000 S/V/C 70 CAN have used remotes programmed.
01-05 C-70 CAN have used remotes programed.
99 and up S-80 CANNOT have used remotes programmed UNLESS you have the remote specific code #s that came with the remote packaging.
01 and up V70/S60 same as S80.
00-04 S?V 40 can have used remotes programmed, software download required.
04.5 and up S40/V50 same as S80
