Computer Going Wacky V70-XC70

I have a 199 XC70 and over the last few days, some strange things happen. First, the up arrow light starts flashing, as though I pushed the "W" button below the shifter. Second, the ODO and computer read outs show dashes. Finally, when I come to a stop in this mode, it feels as though the car is in 2 gear when I start off. Eventually, after about a minute, the ODO and computer read out comes back showing correct information, the up arrow light continues to flash until I turn the car off. The CEL is on, as well as the coolant level warning light, which the water level in the tank is at a normal level.

Has anyone experience this condition, if so, what was the problem. I'm guessing a trip to the dealer is in order shortly, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
