Computer Going Wacky V70-XC70

Call you local autoparts store and ask if they loan scanners to access your computer. Most do, Autozone and Pepboys do.
Your tranny is in limp home mode when the arrow is flashing, and that is a cry for help. When the tranny is nice and hot, after a 20 minute drive, check the level of the fluid. Also the color, it should be reddish but if it is approaching very brown or worse, a flush is in order.
Most cases, you have a bad solenoid which is easily replaced, but you will have to get the codes read to determine what the problem really is.
