Thanks to Klaus and the post on Mathews Volvo site, I have completed replacement of the illumination bulbs on my SC-815. The instructions are for the SC-816 unit, but work on the SC-815 unit also. The new bulbs were for a 98-02 Honda Accord, and the dealer had dozens of them. The replacement was easy and took about 30 minutes. FYI, the instructions miss two steps (or perhaps they don't apply to the SC-816). (1) the twisting of four very small tabs holding down the circuit board, and (2) the removal of two more screws, one on either side of the LCD that displays the stations, etc. I paid about $2.00 a piece for the bulbs.
