wireless throttle problem V70-XC70 2001

I just finished reading some about the wireless throttle issues and wonder if I'm about to have a problem.

I started my 2001 V70Xc this evening and there was no throttle response.
I turned it off and restarted and it worked just fine although I noticed some lag between pressure on the pedal and engine response/forward movement.
Should I start heading towards the nearest Volvo shop?
