Alarm System Failed V70-XC70 1998

Alarm control unit mounts to the side of the steering column. If all door/hood/trunk switches do not close, alarm will not arm. Most common problem is the hood switch. It is on the drivwers side hood lock. Try closing the hood a bit firmer with emphasis on the drivers side corner.
