Blown heater core 850 1994

Hello to you all

Yesterday, while going to work, my heater core exploded and flooded all of the front footwells and some placas in the back.
After some seach around here, i found it was very easy to exchange the part (I was thinking i needed to remove all dashboard) and after getting one on a shop near work, I was able to put the new the part in place, alowing me to get back home at the end of the day.
Big problem: How do I get rid of all the coolant still in the carpets? I tried getting some plugs from underneath the car, but nothing came of them.
I'm sure someone on this nice forum had a similar experience and should know a way to clean the interior in a quicker way than letting it dry at the sun.

Thanks and good luck to you all,
