V70 clutch issue V70-XC70

Yes!

Had this happen to my own manual tranny car after replacing a passenger side driveshaft. About a week after the work the bearing came loose on the shaft, allowing it to slip out of the tranmission output. With the open differential, it just turns the side that's not connected. No motion in any gear or clutch position.

Have a look under there where the driveshafts come out of the transmission. It may be as easy as just shoving the shaft back in (for the meantime until you can get it home and fix it).

I got the faulty driveshaft (a cheap chinese one) from FCP Groton. They kindly accepted it back and refunded my money. I got the next one from Napa.

If this is the problem I suggest replacing the output seal on the transmission while you're in there as it may have been damaged. Also, you may have lost some tranny fluid in the process that should be replaced.

Good luck,
Will
