V70 clutch issue V70-XC70

Fortunately, they don't float. When I got some diff fluid for my 164, the bottle had a nipple top. If you could get a bottle designed like that, you could use it as a squeeze gun and shoot oil through the axle hole and try to flush the tranny, with the drain plug open.
Examine, carefully, the dumped oil and pretend you are NHTSA trying to find all of the parts of the axle.

What a bummer. I appologize for suspecting your teenager. I don't care how hard he may have dumped the clutch and at what rpm, that axle should not fail like that.

The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
