Diagnostic - PCV Valve? S70 1998

took my car into the high school auto shop to get a popped code read off without paying a mechanic, just for a read. The shop teacher thinks it's a PCV valve - after trying a new gas cap the code returns. Anyone know of a place to buy this part (FCP Groton came up blank) in IL? I'll probably start checking auto parts stores next, but I wanted to get an idea of what it's gonna cost me. I'll go to Volvo as a last resort, but I'm sure they'll have quite the markup at that point.

Also any have this similar issue and find out that it turns out to be something else?
