03 XC70 trans axle diff. leak

If the bevel gear is leaking, the unit must be replaced. You are talking major loonies. Don't let the dealer just pump out the old fluid and put in new, that will not fix the over-pressure, only delay the inevitable.
This is a common problem which should not have happened to an 2003 model. Common to 1997-2001.

Then, the oil change guys don't know a transaxle from a tranny, so have the dealer take a good look.
