ABS Sensor 850

Do the ABS sensors fail on 850's? I had the usual ABS troubles, sent my unit to victor, lights went off but the abs engages when stopping (as in like under 10 mph to stop)

I recently replaced both front axles, should I have replaced the sensors too?

Adter vistor sent the unit back, the lights went off, but this problem was still around, it was happening before i sent it to victor.
