Steering wheel options lost S80 1999

My third Volvo - OMG what a money trap but that's no secret to this website. Actually, since it hit 130K it's settled in a bit but now a rather strange one. Last week my turn signals stopped operating, then noticed I don't have cruise or the typical remote functions for my sterio. All of these, of course, are on the steering wheel pad; however, the horn works just fine. After checking fuses, I wonder if there is some kind of control module behind the steering wheel pad? While I know there are other fuses throughout the car, none seem connected to these functions. Any suggestions?
