Replacing 98 T5 Wrecked 01' 2.5T 88k kms or 04 T5 150k kms V70-XC70

My 98 T5 was wrecked last Thursday (140k kms on it). Tboned in an intersection.

I am considering an 01' 2.5T which has 88k, 2yrs ext warranty remaining, and new winter tires and wheels.
The above is likely a 'safe' buy as it is clean and I beleive in good condition - I know cars and have checked it over carefully.

I also found an 04 off lease T5 with 150k, which has no warranty, and is being sold by a non brand used car dealer (hence it was an auctioned lease return as opposed to being picked up by a volvo retailer and 'certified'). It is tidy inside and drives tight and quiet. I will look more closely at it in any case. It is more interesting because it IS a T5 which includes HIDS', high level audio, roof rails.

I'm looking for any feedback, primarily CONCERNS I might encounter with the higher mileage T5. This will be my wifes car, and our primary out of town family car and get about 15-20k kms per year.

Both are in the same price range, mid teens, one is private (no GST) the other has gst.

Thanks
Peter
