`1995 850 concerns? 850

I agree with the above posts. As the owner of a 95 855 with over 210,000 miles (odo broke), it's been a very reliable car. I flushed the trans fluid when it looked burnt, and do regular maint.

The AC is fine, I had a slow leak and added some leak sealer (2 part kit) and that seems to have done it. I haven't added R134a in over a year, and it gets so cold that I have to turn it down (my test).

I finally replaced the rear rotors at 150,000 miles though they could have gone longer.

No leaks, except when my rear main seal went at about 150,000 miles. Not a DIY job, 20 dollar part, 8 hours of labor.

Usually you can tell if a car has been taken car of just be looking at it. Scratches all over? Leather in bad shape? Dings, etc? Tons of brake dust on wheels - these are all signs of drive and gas behavior.

If you see a VCOA sticker or IPD sticker, it could be a good car.

Definitely get it checked out, especially if you have a state inspection where you live.
