MY 1994 850 SETS CODE 222 INTERMITTENTLY,THEN TRANSMISSION GOES IN TO LIMP MODE. CAR CAN GO WITHOUT SETTING CODE FOR A LONG TIME IF YOU JUST TAKE SHORT TRIPS. IF YOU IDLE CAR FOR A PERIOD OF TIME (30 MIN)IT WILL SET CODE CONSISTENTLY. MY THEORY IS TRANSMISSION GETTING HOT, MAY BE COOLER PLUGGING UP? ARE THE A2 SOLENOIDS MORE PRONE TO SCREWING UP AFTER THEY ARE HOT?
