V70 Fuel Economy V70-XC70

I am looking for a nice 2001+ V70 to replace my old 850 which is closing on 200K miles.

It seems that the most common is AWD version (XC70). I really do not need added complexity and fuel consumption of AWD.

I am curious about fuel economy of a plain V70 (NA) and a turbo version. Is it almost the same or different? I am not comparing AWD with FWD, but turbo and non-turbo engines.

Another question for V70 owners. many V70s come with a third row seat. I would not need one - can it be removed from the car? Is it practical to remove it?

Thank you,
Yuri
