2002 V70 Engine Sound (LPT) V70-XC70

I looked at a nice 2002 V70 today. The car has only 45K miles, engine is very clean. It is a low pressure turbo, and engine and car show no signs of abuse).

But it sounds quite different from my 850, and I want to verify that this is normal (has to be!)
The (idle) sound it like a well adjusted sewing machine, or a diesel (not as loud, of course). It is a nice, very distinct clicking/ticking sound. I know injectors make this noise, but it is more pronounced than in 850. And I can feel this sound when I sit in the car (with my, well, ass). Only when idle at low RPM, some sort of vibration, low in intensity, but very distinct.

I would like to hear from 2001+ V70 owner - did I describe a normal sound?

I know this sounds a bit crazy, but I am sure many peopel on this forum would understand my question.

Thank you and happy holidays!

Yuri
